Haze Fest 2007 sets up camp tonight at the Nocturnal Bar in Santa Monica with X-Kid headlining a packed bill that includes Ben’s Jazz Kit, Jade Melody & The Rising Vibes, Snow White The Product. Special Guests Truth, Cancerous One & Maria Ferrer. The tour also makes a stop at Tribal Cafe in LA Friday night before heading up north for shows in Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, and Bellingham.
If you’re a fan of Old School rap, think Erik B and Rakim and old EPMD, then definitely check out X-Kid. His smooth delivery gets the flow going on the standout track "Mistreated" from his last offering The Tombz. Horn and piano samples add to the album's cool vibe, which is further fleshed out by numerous guest appearances.
