The Fine PrintThe Fine Print is composed of Singer Malcolm Gordon, Guitarists Michael Raimi and Saud Siddiqui, Bassist Matthew Gordon and Drummer Josh Smith. All members of the band except Josh Smith were originally from the parody emo band Omnitone Silvervision, which gained minor success in the San Fernando valley area of Southern California. Omnitone's single would be a bootleg song written at Sauds's house with the Print brothers entitled "The Wrist is Cut". The parody emo song would go on to get great reviews from anyone who heard it. The song was followed by numerous others, each great in it's own respect. In January of 2006, The older Gordon brother (Malcolm) met Josh Smith by posting a bulletin on one of Myspace.com's forums to try to find a drummer for a serious band. Josh answered the call and a few weeks later the band had their first practice. The Band has played numerous shows in Southern California, specifically around West Hollywood and Sherman Oaks. They have released two singles so far; You and Parking Violation. Their success is growing and they will hopefully release an album before the year's end. www.myspace.com/tfpmusic |
