Hey Jimmy Lloyd Fans,
I have something special to tell you, straight from the mouth of the man himself!
We posted the news originally to Mego’s blog, because she blogged about Jimmy, and we wanted true fans to hear it first (Check out her post on “Cop Bar” here).
But since we love all of you, even the lazy ones, we’ll spread it out this way too. So get ready, BIG NEWS!
Here's the deal. The music video for 'Cop Bar' (currently in pre-production) is turning out to be a way bigger deal that even Jimmy could have anticipated. No longer a small indie side-project, we've taken the plunge and are now going all out on getting this video to be the best thing since sliced bread. Since we're so excited about this project (and so many others are too), we thought it would be great to include some of our fans.
We have known-celebrities participating in this video and many extras who are so excited by the concept and the song that they are VOLUNTEERING to be in it. Since Jimmy Lloyd is a man of the people and his songs are such anthems for everyman, we are using this opportunity to grow a community around "Cop Bar" and Jimmy. We are getting more and more traffic on jimmylloyd.com every day and are getting unsolicited scripts, video clips, advice etc. sent to us so the BUZZ is growing and you are in on the ground floor!
We want people that are ready to throw down and fight side by side with Jimmy himself. Do you have what it takes? Then we want you!

We are going to offer slots in the Cop Bar video and/or access to the set on shoot day to people who send us video clips of how they know Jimmy and/or what he means to them (see current video clips on www.jimmylloyd.com for further insight). The ones we like best will be chosen!
Show us how you're badass, how you stand up for what's true, how you're a lone hero looking for justice, how you fight society and look fine as hell doing it or how you just plain love Jimmy Lloyd. You can blog, write music, post video – whatever you want - just make sure to send us a link at jimmylloyd.music@gmail.com so we can see it! If you post to YouTube, tag it as "Jimmy Lloyd-Cop Bar" so we know what it's for. These entries can be about Jimmy, to Jimmy (see some of the current vids on his site – www.jimmylloyd.com - to get some ideas), of or for Jimmy, but just remember – show us how YOU are worthy of raising hell next to Jimmy Lloyd in the upcoming Cop Bar video. Then, we'll pick the top five, and invite them on set to meet the man, myth, and legend, Mr. Jimmy Lloyd himself, and have a good old-fashioned all out police brawl.
