Even when you hear Brooke's speaking voice you're struck by it's unique and soulful timbre and from the moment she begins to sing and play the piano/guitar you realize that she's got that special something that can neither be taught, nor bought...raw talent. At (24) Brooke projects a musical style that takes you back to a time where the "singer-songwriter" began with a modern twist. Names like Carole King, James Taylor and Elton John would be the answer if she were to be asked for a few of her influences. Brooke's songs capture the essence of all that is pure and honest about songwriting which is a direct reflection of who Brooke is as a person. Brooke realeased her debut album "Songs from the Attic" on indie label New Millennium Records Group in 2006 produced and co-written by Tim Simms. This album is very diverse for an artist's first CD...also contains two bonus tracks..."Dream On" by Aerosmith and "Yellow" by Cold Play...Brooke makes these two tracks songs "her own" with the arrangment, unique voice and Brooke's special touch...a must hear. Brooke is currently on American Idol 7 Top 10 Finalists.
