12OZ EMPTY, a great band from the midwest, is bringing back the rock. Influenced by bands such as Godsmack, Cold, and Breaking Benjamin, 12oz hopes to revive the genuine rock/alternative music. The band started out when Andy Reyerson (lead guitar, back up vocals) and Ben Johnson (drums, back up vocals) started jamming back in 8th grade. They haven't stopped since and now have been labled one of the top local bands by many credited people and musicians. The other members of the band are: Adam Weppler (bass), Adam Hascall (lead vocals), and Chase Nevins (rhythm guitar). The band's "class" of music is sometimes hard alternative and sometimes soft rock. In reality, however, the band's sound is unique. Their singer has a powerful mix of grunge and smooth tone , and their instrumentals are GREAT. Between the harmonic guitar with smooth fast-cutting solos, the high-speed drum fills, and the over all great mixture of tone and punch, you can't help but love what they can bring to the table. These guys are going to be coming into the public eye before you know it so jump on board and start listening to these guys.
